Oscar-Nominated Short Films Screening at Pelican Cinemas on March 1
Klamath Falls, OR – Klamath Film is thrilled to announce the return of its annual screening of Oscar-nominated short films at Pelican Cinemas on Saturday, March 1 at 6 PM. This special event gives movie lovers a rare opportunity to experience the year’s Academy Award-nominated animated and live-action short films on the big screen before the 97th Academy Awards on March 2.
Short films are often overlooked by mainstream audiences, yet they represent some of the most creative and impactful storytelling in cinema. The films showcased at this event span a variety of cultures and themes, featuring filmmakers from around the world, including Iran, France, Israel, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Canada, and the United States.
“These films are some of the best examples of powerful storytelling in a condensed format,” said Logan Baldwin, Executive Director of Klamath Film. “This is a unique opportunity for local audiences to see them before the Oscars and experience cinema from a global perspective.”
The screening will feature 10 short films across the animated and live-action categories. Due to mature content, the program is rated approximately R and is not suitable for children under 17.
