Awake @ 8ish with The Aerie Retreat!
Awake @ 8ish with The Aerie Retreat!
Thursday, April 9, 2026 (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM) (PDT)
Description
The Aerie Retreat would like to know that it is best to type in The Aerie Retreat into Google or Apple maps. That way you get to the center rather than the mailbox which is over a mile away.
Here are some driving instructions:
Coming from the South - past Weed, CA and Dorris, CA
From the 97, make a Left onto Keno Worden Rd. It is the first left in Oregon.
Immediately after crossing railroad tracks, turn left onto Bear Valley Road.
Once you get to Bear Valley Road, see below instructions.
Coming from the Northwest/Medford, OR
From Keno Worden Rd, before reaching the 97, take the last dirt road on the right, called Bear Valley Road.
Once you get to Bear Valley Road, see below instructions.
Coming from the North/Portland, OR
From the 97, make a Right onto Keno Worden Rd.
Immediately after crossing railroad tracks, turn left onto Bear Valley Road.
Once you get to Bear Valley Road, see below instructions.
Once you are on Bear Valley Road, you may lose cell service.
Bear Valley Road is not a GPS Road or a County Road.
Mail boxes will be on the right side of the road.
You will stay on a gravel road for 1.5 miles (please check your odometer).
You may be tempted to go left to the Prock farm or right on Wild Cow, don’t do that.
Ignore “Private Property” signs. You are an invited guest.
At 1.5 miles there is the “Hartman Ranch” on the left and up ahead, you will see a wooden sign that says “The Aerie Retreat Center” below a round sign with an Eagle that says 20740.
Take the one lane road (the right hand choice) until a Y in the road.
There is a sign for The Aerie pointing right - turn right and go past the red metal gate.
The Aerie is ¼ mile up the hill.
Once you reach the top of the driveway, turn left and drive around and to the back of the retreat building. This will allow for easy unpacking/drop off of your belongings.
Long-term parking will be in the empty gravel lot to the top right of driveway.

Courtesies & Guidelines
Keeping it classy at Awake @ 8ish is important to the Chamber, so we ask that more than anything, please respect the time of the host. The Chamber and current host work together to make the most out of the hour spent together, so we have a few requests to make.
- Please make sure self-introductions are quick and within the allotted time.
- We encourage you to bring guests and share this program with all who would enjoy it. After three attendances, we ask that the guest consider membership to the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce.
- The Chamber of Commerce does not take this opportunity to make political statements during this program, and we ask that you do the same.
We hope to see you at the next Awake @ 8ish program!
