FORT KLAMATH MUSEUM 

Meteor Shower Watch Party 

Join us for a night of wonder at the Fort Klamath Museum on Thursday night as we watch the Perseid meteor shower!

The museum and volunteers will have telescopes set up for viewing. We will also be joined by Caitlin Kepple, an instructor and the department chair of astronomy at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA.

The annual Perseid meteor shower is set to peak on Wednesday and Thursday nights, with 50-100 visible meteors per hour. A new moon phase will allow for even better viewing.

The gates open at 7:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!
