For over 100 years, the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce has been proudly serving our community by addressing issues critical to the economic vitality of Klamath County. It will celebrate this history on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 at its 100th Annual Awards Gala and Centennial Celebration. This celebration will not only commemorate 100 years of dedicated service to our community but will also recognize the individuals and organizations that played important roles through their generous contributions of time and resources to make Klamath the great community we all cherish.

This year’s event will be a little different than in recent years. It will be held at Century Aviation in a private airplane hanger and will feature a full catered dinner, appetizers, drinks, and entertainment. The Chamber will present its usual eight awards plus a couple of special Century awards. Citizens are encouraged to make nominations now for the following awards:

•  Big IDEA Innovation Award - Awarded to an organization that employs new ideas or approaches to doing business.  Innovation could fill an unmet need, create attention, be different or better than existing products, exceed market expectations, achieve financial success, or improve business systems. 
• Commitment to Community - Awarded to any organization in any industry that demonstrates a successful approach to corporate social responsibility and can show a positive impact on the community. 
• Best Place to Work Award (business with 15 or less employees, business with 16 or more employees) -  Presented to an organization that, through its innovation and dedication, provides employees with an outstanding positive, healthy and productive workplace.
• Spirit of Entrepreneurism (for profit and non-profit awards) - Awarded to an individual who exhibits an   entrepreneurial spirit, originality, personal integrity, and influence.  Awarded to an individual who has taken risks in business.
• Youth Leadership - Awarded to an individual under 18 years of age who has exhibited exceptional leadership, an entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
• Lifetime Achievement – Awarded to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Klamath’s business community over their lifetime.  Must be a business leader in Klamath County and be a member of the Chamber.  Must have participated in the Klamath business community for a minimum of 20 years. 
• The Pathfinder Award - Awarded to presidents, principals, or chief executive officers for devoting time and energy to strengthen and transform the organization that they lead.
