Klamath Folk Festival

Saturday, August 26, 2023 (3:00 PM - 10:00 PM) (PDT)

Description

Klamath Folk Alliance, in partnership with the Ross Ragland Theater, is thrilled to announce the return of the annual Klamath Folk Festival on Saturday, August 26, 2023. The event will feature 12 performances across two stages at the Ragland complex between 3:00pm to 10:00pm, children’s activities until 7:00pm, and food and beverage vendors. Headlining this year’s festival will be J. Michael Harter with special guest “YELLOWSTONE’S” Forrie J. Smith. Taking a short break from his film and television duties, iconic actor and stuntman Smith has teamed with “Billboard” charting artist, J. Michael Harter, to create a thoughtful hybrid of song and narrative. The pair’s debut single, “Well Oiled Machine,” is sweeping the nation, touching the hearts of our heartland and shining a light on the folks that keep America running. Also on the bill are international touring act and Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Duet champions, Fellow Pynins, and evocative guitar virtuoso, Dirt Miller. Along with “Native American Flutist of the Year,” Tommy Graven, additional acts include local and regional talents: Daniel Bocchi, Mother Crow Sister Raven, Second Hand Sage, Wampus Cat, Eric Leadbetter, Summer Grace, Kyle Staunton, and Jodie Jean Marston. Proceeds go to help cover the ongoing nonprofit efforts and operations of the Klamath Folk Alliance and the Ross Ragland Theater. Tickets: General Admission $25, Vegas Box Seats $45, Youth $5
