Oregon’s Snake War

                        An Introduction

  The Klamath County Museum will present its first set of lectures on the Snake War, a conflict that engulfed much of eastern Oregon in the 1860s, including part of what became Klamath County. Museum curator Matthew Voelkel will be the first speaker, and he will present a “Snake War 101”. Following Voelkel, Dr. Marc Carpenter, a professor of history at Jamestown University.
