Applications for the Leadership Klamath 2026/27 cohort are now open. Enroll by August 31, 2026 to secure your spot. Early Bird registration by July 31, 2026 for a $50 discount on tuition! The program runs September 17, 2026 through June 17, 2027, one full day per month (generally the third Thursday).

Leadership Klamath brings together approximately 20 emerging and transformational leaders from across sectors to deepen their understanding of Klamath County's economic, civic, and cultural landscape. Through seminars, tours, lectures, and roundtable discussions, participants gain the knowledge and connections needed to make balanced, informed decisions — and to step boldly into leadership roles in our region.

Curriculum topics include, among others: Klamath County economics, Local Government 101, inclusive leadership, planning and development, critical human needs, health, education, the arts and culture, and quality of life.

Tuition

• Chamber Members: $650
• Non-Members: $800
• Early Bird Discount: Register by July 31, 2026 and save $50
• Military Discount: 10% off for active duty and veterans

Community Impact

Leadership Klamath graduates are making a difference across the Basin:

• 78% have joined a nonprofit board
• 28% have joined a government board or commission
• 8% have worked on a local campaign for a candidate or issue
• 32% received a career promotion within a year of graduation

Program Requirements

To participate in Leadership Klamath, you must:

• Work and/or live in Klamath County
• Have a desire to make a positive impact in the community
• Be willing to challenge yourself and others
• Be open to new thinking about your role as a leader
• Commit to attending monthly full-day sessions for 10 months
• Be willing to work collectively and remain open to learning
